The 2015 LBA Mini chopper frame has been upgraded with a 5 Degree engine mount platform designed to accommodate todays engines while allowing installation of the GTC Torque Converter.

A Paughco Tech will be in contact over the phone to verify build specs. 5 Degree engine mount will accommodate a Titan, Predator, Honda GX160/200 and GTC Torque Converter. It would be a good idea to weld some handles onto the nuts for ease of use. Note: Frames are build to order with an expected ship time of 8 - 12 weeks. Assemble to Frame Vertical with four 1/2 x 3-1/2 UNC bolts, and one 5/8 nut as shown. one with a curved backbone that requires a custom curved gas tank, and one with a straight backbone that is intended for use with our new Paughco 1915-style tank. But the larger the mini bike, and the longer the forks, the farther the front wheel will be from the frame. Movement is the enemy in frame building but also something that’s hard to avoid, as the heat generated from welding causes the metals (regardless of which kind) to shrink and pull. For a pocket sized chopper, the forks arent too long. There are many homebuilt choppers, tandems, trikes, quads, tall bikes, electric bikes, trailers and crazy bikes featured in the Builders Gallery. Secondly, the longer you go with the forks, the more the material will flex on bumps. These frames will accomodate any pre-Twin Cam Harley-style engine up to 124 cubic inches including Indian PowerPlus engines, and rear tires from 160x16" to 90/90x21". This isnt a major factor on a small bike, but shouldnt be overlooked. (This is on a rigid frame - on a swing arm you weld them to the side plates.) When the two pieces that make up the wishbone tubes are welded together they are shaped like a wishbone. They get welded together and then to the top tube at one end and the bottom rails.

And having the motor weight pushed forward, enables aggressive riding into corners, while the centered drivetrain gives perfect balance and lean symetry. These two tubes are bent to make space for the seat. In it's most basic form molding a bikes frame consists of adding body filler around the welded tube intersections, brackets, mounts and tab connections creating somewhat small radius 'blends' into the adjoining tube runs. The single cradle design and low-slung weight permits incredible

These frames were originally designed by US Choppers for their unique ‘Boardtrack Platform’ project.
